Parker's Blessing Day

This past Sunday Parker was blessed. It was such a wonderful day! Steve was very nervous to give Parker his blessing. I guess during the blessing Steve started shaking really bad. Bad enough that the men in the circle were wondering if he was going to be okay! Steve did a beautiful job though, and Parker was calm and quite for the whole thing and didn't cry once! What a proud mother and wife I am!
It was also so nice to be able to have family come despite the distance. (I can hardly wait to leave Rexburg.... especially now as I look outside and see the inches of snow on the ground!) We had such a great weekend together and I only wish it could have lasted longer. Here are a few pictures of our sweet Parker on his blessing day.
The men in the circle, minus our friend Toby Dossett and Bishop Simpson.

Two Months Old!

I say this a lot, and I am sure this will not be the last time I say it, but I can hardly believe how much time has already passed by since Parker was born. He's such a cute little chunk now!

Here are his stats from his 2-month well check:
Length: 23 inches (55th percentile)
Weight: 12 pounds (59th percentile)
Head Circ.: 16.5 inches (91st percentile)

To see his growth, here are last months stats:

Length: 21.75 inches (57th percentile)
Weight: 9 pounds 4 ounces (36th percentile)
Head Circ.: 15.5 inches (75th percentile)

We just love our little boy! He's become so much more social now and loves to smile and coo at you when you talk to him. He's also gotten a lot stronger and is beginning to hold his head up pretty well, which is no small task with how big his head is!
Also, check out what I've caught Parker doing SEVERAL times lately!
If you can't tell, the little stinker is sucking his thumb!

Parkercise!

Parker loves to kick his legs and throw punches in the morning, with these moves he could surely take down Chuck Norris! I love my boy.

Halloween

I've never really been a huge fan of Halloween. Luckily my cousin Kate Reber sent Parker this cute onesie or else he wouldn't have had anything else to wear for Halloween. We didn't do anything either, even though our ward had a trunk-or-treat party. I guess we're pretty lame, Steve was at work though so that was our excuse. Maybe I'll get more into the holiday once Parker can actually understand whats going on.....maybe.

Diaper Change......

A few weeks ago Steve was giving me a hard time after Parker had peed everywhere when I was changing his diaper. Steve told me that it never happens to him and it wouldn't happen to me either if I would just follow his little trick. Well Steve's trick is that he grabs Parker's legs, while he still has his diaper on, and pushes them up against his belly a few times. He says that by doing this, anything that was going to come out, would come out while he was pushing Parker's legs. I told Steve, YEAH RIGHT! I told him that once he had changed Parker's diaper enough times it would happen to him too, but he really didn't believe me.
SO....... yesterday Steve was changing Parkers diaper :). Of course he performed his little 'trick' before he actually started to change the diaper, but guess what happened?!?! Parker peed! I was dying! Steve got off easy though, because it wasn't very hard to clean up. But still, I finally got the satisfaction of seeing Steve panic as he tried to find something to cover Parker as he finished his business. I gave Steve a hard time about it for a while but he was a good sport about the whole thing.
It's too bad I don't have any pictures or videos from this fun little experience, but here are some other pictures of our sweet
little Parker Boy!
Parker's not quite strong enough yet to sit in his Bumbo chair for very long :).
