Life has gotten the best of me in the last little while and I am pretty sure I did not blog anything at Jaxon's 8 month. This last month has been huge for Jaxon. I swear it took almost a month, but Jaxon finally cut his first tooth! It is about the same time that Parker did, only he had both his bottom at the same time. Jaxon also started crawling this month and I can hardly catch up with him. He is all over the place. He seems happier now that he can get around and Parker and Jaxon interact a lot more. Jaxon recently had a really bad rash on his back that was extending into his legs and arms. I think it was a rash that is nicknamed the Christmas tree rash. It just kind of stays around for a few weeks with really no other symptoms. Who knows though. I think that using lavender and frankincense essential oils have really helped to clear it up. Anyway, I love this smiley, chunky, happy little boy!

I am blessed...
I have been absent for a while, but tonight as I sit here snuggling on the couch with Parker, I can't help but to feel SO extremely grateful for all that I have. I have such sweet, loving little boys and even though Jaxon is super grumpy from teething and even though Parker is just a stinker, my heart feels like it could explode with all of the love that I have for them.
I feel so grateful for our jobs. Even though I spend most of my nights all by myself while Steve works a 3-11 shift. :) I am grateful for a warm house to keep my family comfortable, safe and warm. I am grateful for my husband. We have been married for five years come this 21st. I love Steve with all of my heart! I am grateful that as I sit here and write this, I do so with one hand because Parker wont let me pull my other arm away. I am very blessed.

We Love Daddy
Steve has been able to watch our boys while I work, since the start of October. His schedule is Wednesday-Monday 3-11pm. We don't get to see each other a whole lot anymore and that is hard sometimes. However, I LOVE that he gets to stay home with our boys. They love it too. (They do miss Grandma Cluff watching them :) Steve is always keeping them busy! Today he took them on a long bike ride out to the Panaca Spring and out to Condor Canyon.
Parker loves to find random objects and pretend they are microphones so that he can sing into them.
I am so grateful for my husband and all that he does for me and our boys.
Jaxon 7 Months
This cute little boy turned 7 months almost a week ago. He is trying SO hard to get onto his knees to start crawling! He LOVES to roll over. He can easily go from one end of the living room to the other in just a couple of minutes. Which is saying something because our living room is pretty big. After about a 2 month time period, Jaxon is finally sleeping through the night again. We were starting to feel pretty sleep deprived! Jaxon is mostly feed with formula now and loves eating rice cereal. Love this boy!

Yes, I know. My boys are AWESOME!
How did I get so lucky? When I say 'boys' I mean Steve too. Steve now works a shift that allows him to be with our kids pretty much the whole time I am gone. He is an awesome Daddy. Steve always sends me videos and pictures of what they do each day when I am at work. I love it! When I look at these pictures, I can't help smiling! These boys sure do keep me busy!
This last picture was taken today. A couple of days ago I woke up with Jaxon in the middle of the night and he had a pretty high fever. So I gave him some tylenol, fed him a bit and then put him back to bed. When we woke up that morning he was still so hot. This fever continued for about three days. I had no clue what was going on, until he broke out into this rash. I THINK he had something called Roseola. Something that usually only children get but when they get it they usually develop immunity for the rest of their life to it. I don't really know/understand how he got it but basically its just a random high fever for several days, followed by a lovely rash. ANYWAY, I'm so glad Jaxon is feeling better and not so grumpy!

Life Lately
Just some random pictures of life lately.
Four handsome studs!
Parker LOVES his bike. He calls it his motorcycle. It is the most difficult thing to pull him away from.
Not entirely sure what to say about this picture...
Parker AGAIN on his 'motorcycle'. Should I be worried that he likes to eat crab apples? :)
More football. I love it!
Love my boys!

Six Months
Just a few days late on this...okay more than a few. Life is crazy. Half a year has gone by! I love this boy! Jaxon is beginning to sit on his own for a little while and we have started him on some solid food. He LOVES food! Couldn't you tell? At his six month check up he weighed 18 pounds and was 26 inches. He is growing like a stinkin weed! This little boy also smiles like crazy! He has such a cute personality already!

What The Heck.....Two Years?!
I LOVE my little/big boy! Parker turned two just a couple of days ago. I had to work on his birthday and that was kind of hard for me, but I spent as much time as I could with Parker as soon as I got home. We had a small birthday party for him (just my family). He loved every minute of the attention he received and Parker was spoiled rotten with gifts. His favorite gifts are Woody and 'Dinosaur'. Parker LOVED how his birthday cake was decorated, but had no interest at all in eating it.
Some things I want to remember:
- I'm pretty sure his favorite color is yellow... he says it for pretty much every color.
- Parker can count to 7.... seriously! Usually he just says 4, 5, 4, 5, over and over again, but the other day I swear I heard him count to 7!
- Parker LOVES Buzz, Woody, Rex, and Jessy from Toy Story.
- Parker can catch a ball, and he throws pretty well too!
- His favorite food is taquitos! He calls them "qui'yos", and loves to dip them in ranch and salsa verde.
- If Parker doesn't like something he's eating, he'll spit out the half-chewed food into his hand and try to hand it to us... it's very appetizing!
- Whenever daddy is outside weeding or doing other yard work, Parker loves to go out and help.
- Parker is so good at saying "thank-you" and "sorry" without even being prompted to do so. I love it!
- He loves his uncles, he calls out their names nice and loud at church when they're preparing the sacrament and it takes a bit of work for them not to smile too big in response as they're trying to be reverent.
- It's been very hard for Parker to leave both Steve and I lately, he breaks down and cries when he sees us walking out the door for work, or when we drop him off at nursery on Sundays. I wish I could be with him every minute of every day.
- Parker is very affectionate toward his little brother, he often kneels down beside Jaxon and kisses him on the forehead and cheeks.
- When Parker really likes something he's eating, he'll often try to share with Jaxon.
-This kid can talk! (He is like his daddy!) The other day he said, "Hi Buzz, I found you!" Unfortunately that is the only sentence I can remember right now......but seriously he talks and talks.
- Weight 27.5 pounds: 43rd percentile
- Height 37 inches: 96th percentile
- Parker was recently diagnosed with Pediatric Asthma, not fun. We usually don't see the symptoms unless he gets sick with a cold or something. Luckily it should go away by the time he is 6 years old.

I am sure there is so much more that I could put on here. This will do. :) I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for blessing our family with Parker for two whole years so far. I look forward to the many years ahead that I have to love, teach and care for this sweet boy! I love you Parker Boy!

Relay
I ran my first relay race last Saturday. It was a total of 30 miles split up between 5 of us. It was a great experience and I hope to do it again next year! I'm also wanting to sign up for another race here soon just to keep myself motivated once school starts. Wish me luck!
Five Months!
Here I am again, writing about another month that has slipped by. Jaxon slowed down a bit with the weight gain. He is about 17 1/2 pounds now. He FINALLY rolled over for the first time. He just likes to lay on his back or his tummy and chill. One thing I'm not sure I have written about is how he LOVES to chew on his fist. It is always in his mouth! Sometimes he's not too coordinated and ends up hitting himself in the face a couple times until he is able to actually put his fist in his mouth.
Jaxon 1 week.
Jaxon 5 months.
We absolutely LOVE this little boy and all of the smiles and laughs he brings to our family.
