Three Years

Three years ago today I married my best friend! Life has been so grand! I'm not really the mushy type but I do want to say that I've never been happier! I love Steve! I love Parker! I love my life!

Story Time

Part of Parker's bedtime routine is for us to read a book to him. Last night I asked Steve if he would pick a book out to read to Parker. They just looked so cute together that I had to take a picture. Enjoy!

Just a Cute Video

Every once in a while Parker's thumb makes its way into his mouth. So the other day this happened and I pulled out the video camera. His face is so funny because it looks like he's thinking he got in trouble or something. So cute!

Parker's First Hair Cut

Okay...so it wasn't much of a haircut but Jaycie did trim up Parker's fohawk. :) His hair was getting so long that it would curl over at the tips. Steve had been bugging me about it for a while but I just didn't want to cut his hair. I finally told him that I would let Parker get his hair cut as long as Jaycie was the one to do it. She did a great job as usual!

Three Months!

Really?! Parker is three months old? This might end up being a really mushy post...so if you don't like mushy, I suggest you stop reading. :)
I LOVE my little boy! I told Steve the other day that if I ever have a bad day Parker ALWAYS makes me feel better...even when he is the one giving me the bad day. Sometimes I really have a hard time restraining myself so that I don't kiss him too much or squeeze him too hard. I just can't help myself....and I'm not alone in this. Steve loves to kiss Parker, sometimes to the point where Parker has to start complaining before he will stop.
What a blessing it is that our Heavenly Father entrusts us with such beautiful, special children. I feel like now that I have Parker, I can understand just a little bit better how much our Heavenly Father loves us. I think that I have also come to realize, because of Parker, that I need to work even harder to be a better person so that I can have the blessing of living for ETERNITY with my family.
Anyway, we love Parker! He has been such a good baby. Parker still sleeps through the night. He is pretty consistent with sleeping 7 hours and sometimes I can feed him and put him right back down for another 2-3 hours. He is getting even stronger now and is beginning to sit very well in his Bumbo chair. Parker loves any attention he can get and he is always smiling! I can hardly wait to hear him laugh! Parker loves to suck on his fists and because of this his face is always covered in drool.
We love our Parker boy!

Parker's Blessing Day

This past Sunday Parker was blessed. It was such a wonderful day! Steve was very nervous to give Parker his blessing. I guess during the blessing Steve started shaking really bad. Bad enough that the men in the circle were wondering if he was going to be okay! Steve did a beautiful job though, and Parker was calm and quite for the whole thing and didn't cry once! What a proud mother and wife I am!
It was also so nice to be able to have family come despite the distance. (I can hardly wait to leave Rexburg.... especially now as I look outside and see the inches of snow on the ground!) We had such a great weekend together and I only wish it could have lasted longer. Here are a few pictures of our sweet Parker on his blessing day.
The men in the circle, minus our friend Toby Dossett and Bishop Simpson.

Two Months Old!

I say this a lot, and I am sure this will not be the last time I say it, but I can hardly believe how much time has already passed by since Parker was born. He's such a cute little chunk now!

Here are his stats from his 2-month well check:
Length: 23 inches (55th percentile)
Weight: 12 pounds (59th percentile)
Head Circ.: 16.5 inches (91st percentile)

To see his growth, here are last months stats:

Length: 21.75 inches (57th percentile)
Weight: 9 pounds 4 ounces (36th percentile)
Head Circ.: 15.5 inches (75th percentile)

We just love our little boy! He's become so much more social now and loves to smile and coo at you when you talk to him. He's also gotten a lot stronger and is beginning to hold his head up pretty well, which is no small task with how big his head is!
Also, check out what I've caught Parker doing SEVERAL times lately!
If you can't tell, the little stinker is sucking his thumb!

Parkercise!

Parker loves to kick his legs and throw punches in the morning, with these moves he could surely take down Chuck Norris! I love my boy.

Halloween

I've never really been a huge fan of Halloween. Luckily my cousin Kate Reber sent Parker this cute onesie or else he wouldn't have had anything else to wear for Halloween. We didn't do anything either, even though our ward had a trunk-or-treat party. I guess we're pretty lame, Steve was at work though so that was our excuse. Maybe I'll get more into the holiday once Parker can actually understand whats going on.....maybe.

Diaper Change......

A few weeks ago Steve was giving me a hard time after Parker had peed everywhere when I was changing his diaper. Steve told me that it never happens to him and it wouldn't happen to me either if I would just follow his little trick. Well Steve's trick is that he grabs Parker's legs, while he still has his diaper on, and pushes them up against his belly a few times. He says that by doing this, anything that was going to come out, would come out while he was pushing Parker's legs. I told Steve, YEAH RIGHT! I told him that once he had changed Parker's diaper enough times it would happen to him too, but he really didn't believe me.
SO....... yesterday Steve was changing Parkers diaper :). Of course he performed his little 'trick' before he actually started to change the diaper, but guess what happened?!?! Parker peed! I was dying! Steve got off easy though, because it wasn't very hard to clean up. But still, I finally got the satisfaction of seeing Steve panic as he tried to find something to cover Parker as he finished his business. I gave Steve a hard time about it for a while but he was a good sport about the whole thing.
It's too bad I don't have any pictures or videos from this fun little experience, but here are some other pictures of our sweet
little Parker Boy!
Parker's not quite strong enough yet to sit in his Bumbo chair for very long :).

Parker.....Who Else?

Steve and I were snapping a whole bunch of pictures today because Parker was being so smiley. I put all of them on here because I just couldn't decide which ones to put up! His smiles make me so happy! I LOVE it!

Parker....My Little Chunk!

It is so crazy to me how fast Parker has already grown. Comparing him to his newborn pictures he looks so much BIGGER! I just want him to stay a little baby forever.....okay maybe not, but I love holding and snuggling my little baby! I'm not sure how much he weighs right now, we'll find out next week, but I really think he's been packing on the pounds!
These next two pictures are just a comparison of Parker in the same outfit. The first picture is in the hospital and the second was taken today (10/25/10).
I think his shorts shrunk a little when I washed them, but look how round and full his belly and cheeks are now!
My cute little Parker Boy! He smiles all the time now and I LOVE it!

More Pics From Panaca Trip

Here are some more pictures from this past weekend. I think I got pictures of everyone BUT my Dad. It was very nice to go home and Parker did pretty good in the car. It stinks that we live so far away!
GG Robson (Conger) with Parker.
This is pretty much all Jaycie did that weekend. Oh yeah, she also mowed a few lawns, talked/texted Josh, and slept.... :) Love ya Jaycie!
Gotta love Hunter and his goofy grins!

Uncle Hunter

While I was in Panaca this past weekend I had plenty of help with Parker. Uncle Hunter was always right there with me wanting to hold or help me with Parker. Here are some pictures of the two.

Parker..... Of Course :)

So.....last Wednesday night my little Parker Boy slept EIGHT hours STRAIGHT! I only had to go in once or twice to put his pacifier back in (actually I probably went in more than that, but only because I was paranoid and wanted to make sure he was still breathing since he was sleeping so long). The next night Parker slept seven straight hours and come morning I was telling myself to not get my hopes up for anything because it was probably just a fluke. Well, for six nights in a row now Parker has slept through the night! In fact he slept for almost NINE hours last night! It has been so nice! I still keep telling myself not to get my hopes up though.
Another little story about Parker. A couple days ago I was holding Parker and he was wide awake just looking around and filling his diaper. Well on one of his attempts to fill his diaper I felt something run onto my hands and then onto my pants (sorry if this is too much detail). I immediately look down at the mess and say, "aw man....PARKER". I turn to look at him and he has the BIGGEST grin on his face. I then tell him he is a little stinker which only brings on an even bigger grin! I love my little boy! Even when he poops on me. :)
Here is a video, because what is a post without a video or a picture of Parker? I have been trying so hard to get his smiles on camera.... heres the best we have so far! Enjoy!

Weekend in Nampa

For General Conference Steve, Parker, Aubree and I were all able to go to Nampa and visit Steve's family. It was a very nice and relaxing weekend and conference was wonderful! Here are a few pictures from that weekend.
Parker looks like a little burrito and check out his double chin!
