Time With Daddy

Steve doesn't get a whole lot of time with Parker because he is always either at school or work. So when he is home he is usually either doing his homework or holding Parker. Parker loves his Daddy!

Whenever I leave Parker with Steve to go to the store or to go run errands, this is usually what I find when I come home!

For church yesterday Steve and Parker looked so cute that I had to take a picture! Of course the picture was taken after church and Parker was getting pretty frustrated because he was hungry. Oh well!

One Month

I took Parker to his one month appointment today and everything looks wonderful!

Here are his stats:

-Weight- 9lbs 6oz

-Height- 21 3/4 inches

-Head Circumference- 15 1/2 inches

The Doctor did give me Parker's percentiles but because I get less sleep than I am used to now, I'm very forgetful and so I left that information at the doctors office. Just a side note, on Friday Parker weighed 8lbs 12oz, so I guess he gained 10 ounces in 4 days. However the nurse today weighed Parker in without letting me change his FULL diaper....so who knows how accurate his weight is.

Also Parker has began to smile for real at us! It is so dang cute and I love it! Hopefully here soon we'll catch it on video.

More Pictures of Parker....

Yes, I am putting MORE pictures of Parker up AGAIN! My Mom MAKES me put something up everyday. Okay, maybe she doesn't make me, but she says she really really wants me to try to put a picture of Parker up everyday so she doesn't feel like she is missing out on too much by being so far away. I don't blame her either. Plus, I love showing off my little boy! Enjoy!

When I went to the store the other day I bought this pepper and didn't realize exactly how huge it was until I compared it to Parker's head.

Okay, so this next picture is priceless....

Parker is always flailing his arms around in his sleep and if I don't wrap him up in his blanket he ends up whacking himself in the face sometimes. So because I didn't wrap him up this time, he somehow managed to stick his finger right up his nose. It's like he knows I think nose picking is disgusting. Thats the one thing I had a hard time with when I did my student teaching in 1st grade. Yuck!

Anyway, I couldn't resist taking a picture and putting it on here. He may not like me for it when he is older though. :)

Three Weeks Old

It's hard for me to believe that three weeks (and one day) have already passed by since Parker came into this world! It's been a big adjustment for Steve and I by having this little guy with us now. I have quickly learned that it takes much longer to get ready for church, to go to the store and to sometimes even make dinner. I also miss being able to sleep straight through the night and I also never would have thought we would go through so many diapers! However, we definitely wouldn't have it any other way! We absolutely love this little guy and feel so blessed to have him in our lives!

I Hate Math!

So... I really didn't want to work on my math, so I decided to play with my computer instead... then Nykele yelled at me telling me to do my math... it's a pretty great video.
