Jaxon: Day 2

This first picture was taken of Jaxon sitting around with his momma yesterday. Yes, we know he's ridiculously cute. :)



Here's Nykele first thing this morning, holding baby Jax and loving every minute of it. She wanted to soak up some alone time with Jaxon before visitors arrived, knowing that she'd have to give him up for others to hold. :)


We'd been wanting see Parker interact with Jaxon, and today was the day. It was cute watching Parker strut his stuff down the hall on his way to see his mom and new baby brother.


We'd hoped that Parker would get along well with Jaxon, it was so nice to see how soft he was with him. He's going to be such a great brother! Typical Parker, kind and loving.


Here's Nykele giving some 1 on 1 attention to Parker who'd been without his momma for a few days. He loved every minute of it.


While Parker was getting his 1 on 1 time with his mom, Jaxon was being held by everyone else.



It'd been awhile since I'd been able to hold my oldest little boy, it was nice to have him close again.


My favorite moment of the day... my favorite moment in a long time. There's something sacred about being able to hold my two sons together, they're a good influence on me. :)


If you look carefully, you can see Parker's little hand caressing his tiny brother's head. Likely Jaxon doesn't realize it yet, but he's got a family who loves him immensely. What a blessing it is to know that we can be forever a family.


I've written these little picture headings under the influence of severe exhaustion, hopefully they all made sense. If not, I'll try to fix anything that needs fixing tomorrow. I just wanted to make sure that I got some of these pictures up for those who can't be here with us right now. Hopefully these pictures help you feel closer since we're so far away.
