Lately

The last couple of days have been great! I'm remembering what it was like to be home full time again...only with two little boys. I love it! I'll have to go back to school in May to finish up the school year but then I'll have all of summer break! Steve just started a new job on Monday working for a couple of the parks here in Lincoln County. He LOVES it so far!

Jaxon didn't mind his first bath. He didn't cry near as much as Parker did!

It's crazy to me, but ever since we brought home Jaxon, Parker seems so BIG! He seems so much older too. Parker likes to do up the buckles in Jaxon's car seat and then he'll sit in it for a couple of minutes. It's amazing to see how much he as grown in 1 1/2 years.

Parker also likes to sneak Jaxon's pacifier. He knows he is not supposed to have it (we took his away when he turned 1) and one day he picked it up and I asked him to go and take it to Daddy. He looked at me and smiled and then wandered off. A little bit later Steve comes in the room asking where Parker was. I told him to look behind the couch because that's usually where Parker goes when he's trying to be sneaky. Sure enough Steve caught him sucking on Jaxon's pacifier. I wish I could have captured the look on Parker's face as we caught him!

I feel so blessed to have two sweet spirits in my home now. Nothing is better than being a Mom. I also feel so blessed to be recovering so quickly from my c-section which was only 10 days ago. I have been in very little pain and I have been able to do just about everything I would normally be doing...don't tell my doctor though. :) I love my life and my sweet little family!
